Daylight saving time (DST) or simply summer time is a practice of advancing clocks to 1 hour forward from standard time during summer months, which means that the evening daylight will last an hour longer.[/vc_column_text][cs_space][cs_space][cs_space][vc_column_text]
Daylight Saving Time (DST) and its affect on Forex Trading Hours in Singapore
The market’s opening and closing time will be affected in this case.
For example, the standard forex market opening time in Singapore is 5am on Monday and closes at 5am on Saturday.
Whereas during the daylight saving time, the forex market will open at 6am on Monday and closes at 6am on Saturday in Singapore instead.[/vc_column_text][cs_space][cs_space][cs_space][vc_column_text]
How Daylight Saving Time (DST) affects “The Alien Room”Forex Trading Style
Since we are 4 hour traders, “The Alien Room” standard 4 hour closing times are 5am, 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 9pm, 1am.
However during the daylight saving time, our 4 hour closing times will be affected and revised to 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, 2am instead.
So if you are waiting for a 2am confirmation, then you have to stay up late.
But don’t forget that the alien room is watching the trades for you 24 hours and with the set and forget price level, you can earn while you sleep *smiles*

As of 07 November 2016, Axitrader users will be affected by daylight savings for Forex market.
Please take note of the following timing and H4 closing till further notice:
- Forex market will open at 6am on Monday and closes at 6am on Saturday.
- The time for H4 closing will now be 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, 2am.
